Speakerine - Season 1

July 1962. Christine Beauval, RTF Studio's star newsreader, is assaulted. A few days before the attack, Minister of Information Éric Jauffret promotes Pierre Beauval, Christine's husband and superior at RTF, to head of Mondovision - a position coveted by Joseph Darnet, RTF's head controller. What the Beavals don't know is that Jauffret has been having a secret affair with their young daughter, Colette, whose best friend soon turns up dead. And in the midst of these intrigues comes Isabelle Auclair, a young newsreader prepared to do anything to take Christine's place.
