The band's 2nd album first time on CD, originally released by Factory in November 1985, plus all tracks from the three related non-album singles for Factory. Included 16-page booklet with lyrics and credits. Tracks 1 to 8 released as the album The Wake - Here Comes Everybody (FACT 130) in 1985. Tracks 9 and 15 released as 12" single The Wake - Talk About The Past (FAC 88) in 1984. Tracks 10 and 16 released as a 7" single The Wake - Of The Matter (FAC 113) in 1985. Tracks 11 to 14 released as the 12" single The Wake - Something That No One Else Could Bring (FAC 178) in 1987. Tracks 1 to 10, 15, 16 recorded at Revolution Studios, Cheadle Hulme, Manchester.
