"Renewing the experience of musical composition allowed me to define a working method which consists of two steps.The first is to develop a process to generate sounds, articulations, intentions, by designing custom programs, patchs.The second is to use the results obtained to compose music, arrange materials, express something.The first step does not always activate the second for various reasons, sometimes even extra-musical.So the programming work, the ideas modeled, the first renderings are forgotten. They hibernate and completely go out sometimes.However, there are often many hours spent, a lot of energy invested in trying to bring a process to maturity.And sometimes the music does not happen because the mission turns out to be too complex, the two steps failing to cross in the same temporality.
