Rather than exist as a musical artefact, the project itself was an art piece by the German digital artist Oskar Muller, an original artwork measuring 30" x 20" (see the attached artwork), displayed at the Boilerhouse Gallery in Belfast as part of a larger exhibition of Muller's work, and 'rpm20162' was inspired by the drone/experimental work of other Rondaphone artists. A small run of A4 prints (signed) were available for sale as part of the exhibition, and this work was displayed to the accompaniment of a drone piece composed by Belfast drone/experimental musician Needle, a role that he has performed for several exhibitions at the Boilerhouse. The music has not, as of January 2020, had an official release (nor have other Needle installation pieces). The original work is 60 minutes long, in two parts (Part 1 and Part 2). The original artwork was sold for the sum of $1500 in January 2020 (although it remains on display until the end of the month as of the date of writing).
