Old School is exactly what the title says it is. This album, however, has a past. There was a release in the Soundtrack Series called "Brothers". The Soundtrack Series was a series of albums meant to invoke a certain feeling based on a theme. The titles were mostly pretty transparent (Celebration, Pop Music, etc.). However, "Brothers" didn't immediately let you know what the theme was. It was a Jazz album, but how would one know that without listening to it? So, the album was discarded and two of its songs were recompiled on this release along with 4 brand new ones. There is an overall retro theme but as far as genre is concerned, it's all over the place.
