Guitarist Jacob Artved lives in the tradition, but has definitely obtained inspirations from guitar players of today. His playing is skilled and honest, and he has a fine career ahead of him. These three days Artved is heard with no other than a legend; the American drummer Louis Hayes, whose strong playing was the driving force in groups led by Cannonball Adderley, Horace Silver and Woody Shaw. What a scoop! The group is completed by two incredible musicians from NYC; pianist Jeb Patton and bassist David Wong.
