Years is a frozen and polarizing satchel of heart-sting songs, and the most grown up voice from young but middle-age-ish father Matty McKechnie (Graven) to date. Years showcases the sadness and awareness of time passing with the mix of gratitude for otherworldly and illuminating moments. With production from Jim Bryson (multi-album songmaker and collaborator with Kathleen Edwards, The Tragically Hip, The Weakerthans, Evangeline Gentle and many more), and mastering from Phil Bova, the far-away sonic landscapes are ear-candy rich and flush with rolling hills of feels.
