Locusts is a heavily remixed recording of an outdoor acoustic performance at an abandoned section of the Franklin Park Zoo. The percussive audio is from a particularly rhythmic section of highway I traveled while on tour in 2018 with Al Margolis and Walter Wright (Elka Bong). I Don't Owe You Anything was the last performance with the Boss and Memory Man, which always sounded great at home but failed to produce feedback reliably in front of an audience. Sorry Not Sorry was recorded a year earlier, in the room where Birdorgan played frequently in the late 20tens - early 'teens as the 119 Gallery house band. Although the track may sound dour and melancholy, I am singing from a happy place.
