Notes
The first version of this track was made between Spring and Summer in 2017.The instrumental came out of an exercice of imitating "Peet - Smooth feat. Roméo Elvis" while the beginning of the text was written under a tree on the Cyclade's island of Amorgos in May or June. Finished and recorded in Geneva, Switzerland in August 2017 probably. After a first self-release on Soundcloud and Bandcamp, the track was reworked with the notable addition of the harmonica, played by the French musician John Souffir. The recordings were made on a boat in Hackney, using a Yamaha Pockterak PR7.In the outro of the original full version (track 1) we can hear a drum & bass influence and some reading of the first pages of the book "Les Jeunes Filles" by Henry de Montherlant. Those lines are actually transcriptions from personal ads in a French marriage magazine called "Le plus beau jour" (1926). Men and women trying to find a spouse. The main character of that story is Pierre Costals.
