Story
An eminent Israel Prize winner author tells his life story and explains its direct influence on his writing. The fascinating, solitary ninety years old man invites the viewer into his life and reveals his pain, his fears, his self-doubt and his joy in creating. Through the movie he sheds a light on the deepest meaning of his writing. His main source of inspiration was his mother who was murdered during the Holocaust. Everything I write is through my mother's eye. She is in every book I have ever written, says the author. And he finishes by saying: If I was not a writer - I would not be!
