Story
Witches is a modern-world fantasy about a family of magically gifted women, drifting and devastated by the loss of their father. The broken Black family is forced to reconnect when a hidden gene in their bloodline is revealed, unexpectedly compelling them into a desperate search for a secret their ancestors have protected over thousands of years. The secret, which brings to light a world power truth, threatens the existence of the corrupt confederation known as the Enlightened, a group dedicated to maintaining world control. The Enlightened will stop at nothing to obtain the secret's knowledge, vowing to exterminate every witch, starting with those connected to the bloodline. This forces the Black family to abandon their lives and conduct their search for truth while in hiding. With death always in the shadows, the family unites to save not only themselves, but to prevent the rise of a corrupt world government, unaware that the real threat is already lurking in the darkness.
