Story
Addie Riley (Joanne Maye) settles into her job as a US Sensor Op (drone pilot), but soon becomes troubled by Aamirah (Akin Williams), a boy in the Pakistani compound she's been instructed to watch. Aamirah reminds Addie of her own son, Adam (John Demers). As Addie's senior partner Niel Linden (Doug Nydick) warns her to stay detached, her working class husband Joe (Drew Matthews) begins to notice the strain the double life has on his young wife. Surreal images of drone warfare invade Addie's dreams and roil her life in a comfortable American suburb. Incorporating Wiki-Leaks footage and actual transcripts of drone pilots, 'Watching' is a deeply intimate and disturbing personal drama about ongoing drone warfare.
