Story
The journey of a deeply mysterious and withdrawn prisoner as he stands at the front gates of the prison awaiting release. After serving a life sentence (21 years) - finally, the day of his release arrives. For anyone else this would be a happy day. But for him, fear and paranoia immediately set in as he still can't be sure if his crimes in his previous life are forgotten or, will catch up with him the second he steps foot on the outside. However, once he steps outside the braces of prison and into complete freedom, he is united with his adult Son. This is the first time he has seen him on the outside in over 20 years. Together they embark on a long-lost spiritual, historical and emotional excursion. What begins as a beautiful nostalgic journey reliving the most tender and memorable moments as a father and a young son, ends with them arriving serendipitously in a place of overwhelming significance to the past, the present and the future.
