Story
Five years on from forming his school skiffle group Liverpool tearaway John Lennon is still no nearer breaking through to the big time. But in Paul McCartney he has found a kindred spirit even more driven to succeed in the cut throat world of show business. In late '62 manager Brian Epstein has finally secured a record deal with EMI. The Beatles for a tantalising moment have their shot at fame and fortune. But there's a major problem with the contract, the debut single's not strong enough, as tension mounts a rift between band and management gets out of hand...Hold on tight for a helter skelter ride into an all too believable parallel universe as we pose the question - "What if Lennon and McCartney had never made it?"
