Story
A purple egg is sent away from it's homeland, then turns into a young dragon named Spyro who is raised by dragonflies, then sets out to find Ignitus the elder of fire to learn the truth. Ignitus shows him the prophecy that a purple dragon of ten generations, will rise to be a hero and defeat the evil forces. With his faithful companion Sparx at his side, Spyro embarks on a journey to rid the world once and for all of the evil black dragon, Cynder.
