Story
The 90th Minutes is a documentary film that looks at why professional women's soccer struggles to survive when it is one of the most popular sports among girls. The story is told through the lives of three athletes who play for the top club team in the world called FC Gold Pride - located in Hayward, California. The team is home to Olympic gold medalists, former World Cup athletes and Marta Vieira Da Silva - the best female soccer player in the world. Despite their ability on the field, the players face a major challenge that forces them to think critically about what they are willing to give up to play the game that they love.
