Story
A young couple have twins, but unfortunately one of the babies, Jesse, has Down's syndrome. After realizing that she has difficulties coping, the mother, Tammy, decides to place Jesse with a family that has taken in several similar children. Jesse's grandparents object, believing that he will be better off living with his real family. As Tammy's mother starts fighting for custody over the child, she reawakens old hostilities between herself and her daughter, and the entire family is affected.
