Story
A Little Tramp faces a formidable challenge as he falls for a maid that he meets on Little Green Street. The maid has been thrown out onto the street by her master who has accused her of larceny, and without her possessions. The tramp offers to sneak into the property and bring back her belongings. His plans are dashed when a prying policeman gets in his way as he questions their suspicious behaviour. The tramp and the maid manage to hit the policeman in the head with the policeman's bat. They drag him outside the master's property and the maid keeps an eye on him whilst the tramp breaks into the house looking for the maid's sack. The tramp comes out through the backyard holding the sack, but when he places his hand in the sack he gets a shocking and almost terrifying surprise. Did he take the right sack? Is the maid really a thief?
