Story
The short is based on the relationship between the director Ilenia Cotardo and her younger brother, on how they collaborate to solve the problems and joke each other. The film is a slapstick animation made for entertain the young audience by showing the gags of two little sibling hummingbirds, Lemon and Elderflower. The protagonists, whose wings are too little to be able to fly, can't migrate with the other birds. During the story, the siblings build different inventions, in order to find the right way to take flight. Children's attention and involvement will be caught not only through the style, which looks like an illustration children book, with the help of the paper, but also because the little audience might identify themselves with the siblings' relationship. The two birds are sister and brother, the female is the eldest and the male the youngest. This one is immature and simple, so the sister, with a strong personality, gives directives to the brother and uses him as a tester ...
