Story
Kahleo O' Kalani, in Hawaiian means the voice of Heaven. Kahleo, being the third rapper to ever be admitted to Berklee College of Music, sets out to escape the frigid Boston winter and meet up with friends and family in French Polynesia, Taha'a Tahiti and Hawaii's North Shore of Oahu, to do what he does best: make music. While there he creates his music and music videos, with some of the most talented artists and surfers in the world: Koa Rothman, Nathan Florence, Billy Kemper, and Eli Olsen. This film is an inspiring example of the courage it takes for one to go after one's dream and show the privilege and calling of that dream. The honor of documenting Kahleo on such a journey is truly captivating. If only the whole world could follow their passions and dreams, perhaps the world would be a kinder place.
