Story
This film pioneers a new film medium called Choral Drama. Performed with a live choir and percussion, "Harriet Tubman: Journey to Freedom" tells the story of a young woman struggling to find her freedom. In doing so, she realizes she must risk her newfound freedom, to save her people. Using a filmic visual of Harriet on her first journey north to freedom, combined with five unique and beautiful songs, composed by Dr. Ronald Kean, this Choral Drama hopes to give life to one of America's Greatest Heroes.
