Story
In this crowdfunded third entry in the Fear Effect video game series, an isometric shooter set after the events of the first game, Fear Effect (2000), and a departure from the franchise's survival horror origins, mercenary Hana, her partner and lesbian lover, Rain, and their Aussie friend, Deke, are hired in Hong Kong by a mysterious client to steal an artifact tied to Sedna, an evil goddess from Inuit mythology, that's in the possession of a Chinese ambassador to France. They travel to Paris and infiltrate the ambassador's party only to be greeted by another group of mercenaries who steal the artifact in front of Hana's crew and shoot everyone. The French secret service agent tasked to secure the party turns out to be Hana's old friend Axel, who hires her and her team to help him catch the thieves, a gang responsible for a number of recent Inuit art thefts.
