Story

Several pupils from Romania, Poland and Germany meet for ten days in the former concentration camp Buchenwald to research the history of the Sinti and Roma Holocaust. What do they know about the centuries long discrimination against Sinti and Roma in their home countries? The filmmaker explores the role of caring for archaeological remains like garbage or ordinary objects once in daily use, and how this can be an act of bearing witness.
