Story
An European comedy about the struggle to save the Planet for Tinto Brass, linked to L'amore in piazza (2017) (2017). Wien 2008: the tenor Christopher Gluck is famous because at the Volksoper he sings 'The Bat' by Strauss with his cacatoa Sissy beating her wings and trilling to the rhythm of the music. To match Sissy with an equally extraordinary cacatoa, Gluck finds Romolo, a cacatoa who lives in Rome with the psychiatrist Trevi who trained him in the pet-therapy of children with extraordinary results. The two masters are exalted by the idea that Sissy and Romolo will be perfect mascottes for WWF ecological struggle. Trevi prepares a beautiful wedding cage on the terrace of his house in Trastevere overlooking the Botanical Garden, a paradise of trees, flowers and perfumes. Gluck brings the parrot-bride to Rome in secret of his gay partner, the special effects creator Maximilian Adonis who is insanely jealous of Sissy and would prevent her mating with any bird.
