BYUtv Sports was originally titled the "Blue and White Sports Network" when it debuted on KBYU in the 1990's. Since then the sports division underwent many changes. It was in 2001, when BYU Broadcasting launched BYUtv to all Dish, DirecTV and select cable subscribers, that the BYU Sports network was born. It covered a array of sports associated with the University and has consistently brought quality programming to millions of viewers throughout the world.In 2009 BYU Sports Network rebranded itself to True Blue Sports then rebranded itself again to BYUtv Sports in 2010 a name which it still carries.The goal of BYUtv Sports is to give the million of fans access to all available BYU Sports. This goal was furthered by the addition of live streaming online at byutv.org. BYUtv is the only college related network that provides sports in HD worldwide for no charge.
