Story
The story of Butterfly Town, USA takes place during a global crisis. Monarch numbers are dwindling rapidly. Every year, thousands of Monarchs migrate to Pacific Grove, CA. In 2009, the city heavily trimmed branches and gaps in the canopy were devastating. Monarch numbers dropped from nearly 18,000 to under 800.
