Story

From humble beginnings in Bayonne, New Jersey, Charney grew into a man who earned a JD from Brooklyn Law School, became a successful entrepreneur by his mid-20's, and at 40 was an instrumental player in the historic 1978 Camp David Accords signed by Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin. Today, Charney owns and manages real estate holdings valued at $1.2 billion. A man of faith with an unwavering devotion to peace, Charney has bestowed gifts on numerous charities and endowed many institutions and has traveled the world as a cantorial singer.
