Story
Sandrine Pauwels Pauwel throws out her husband Bert Nijs's things and him, then claims 40 year-old surgery professor Han Wuyts's car, which hits Bert on the road right there, meant to kill, although he got fatally injured himself. His widow, nurse Margot, denies he knew Bert and knows no enemies, nor did Han care for art, although his trunk contains a valuable painting by Lievens. His death cleared the way for his assistant Johan Beunis to be promoted and his anesthetist Vincent De Belder to run for rector (university chancellor). Autopsy shows his ribs were previously crushed, probably in an earlier crash - and the driver wasn't Han, although Margot identified him. More lies remain to be found out while Beunis goes missing.
