Story
Alice promised her inventor father Ted Murphy to sell his 'novelty' whistle. The trio promised a success, but can't find a single client interested, so they enlist dealer Karl to sweeten the offer with weed, which opens a market. To appease Ted's eagerness for grandchildren, Alice pretends that Adam is her fiance, but he takes the role too far, especially after receiving an heirloom engagement ring. Alice finds out about the illegal 'bonus', and Karl's supplier Noel extorts triple price, which Ted half-overhears and refuses to leave with 'his hired help', leading to truth time on the country club golf course.
