Story
Fanny Jacobs, a young lab technician, is found dead in her house. She was pregnant for the second time. Steven, her ex, is the father of Marco, her first born. Merel, who found Fanny, claims that Marco isn't Steven's and that she got pregnant through artificial insemination with an unknown donor. Steven says Marco is definitely his, because doctor Vanneste insured him he was fertile. Doctor Vanneste is a colleague of doctor Claessens, who did the second insemination of Fanny. Doctor Vanneste and doctor Claessens are both after director Dubois' job. Fanny seemed to have blackmailed Claessens with his relationship to Vanneste's wife Helena. At least Fanny received 50.000 euro the day before she quit. Karel Dubois is getting nervous and warns Witse not to go on with the investigations in his hospital.
