Story
Jonathan finds out Frances is gloomy because it's the third anniversary of her father's death, which she never properly dealt with, and sacrifices his day off to achieve cathartic closure. Matt fixes his gambling-addicted father in law's error by booking an alternative wedding venue while Rebecca blames her lottery winning for his relapse. Doug encourages Sophie to finally tell her parents, who never visited her place before, at a dinner co-hosted by her sister. After another clash, mainly due to admitting her cocaine arrest, makes her father walk out, Doug stands by Sophie, which arouses her. Wes Fitzpatrick wisely limits himself to watchings sports with his male in-laws while his bride bickers with her sister, Jenny, who promised to help organizing the wedding but rather took over and planned her own dream party. Tiffany begs Rebecca for a $20,000 loan to fight her ex's custody claim and over-reacts dramatically when turned down.
