Story
Kate and Charlie find themselves in conflict in the lead up to the Coronial Inquest into her shooting of Gordy Gilmour. Bill tries to act as mediator between the two in an effort at re-establishing the 'team' they had before this incident but Kate feels detached from the Force as Charlie gives her the cold shoulder instead of support, making her feel like she's being unfairly judged for doing her job. While conducting a rehabilitation program for released criminals, Maxine becomes involved with the family of a man trying to re-establish contact with his young son - much to the consternation of his ex-wife. Vince tries to help another man get back on his feet but he's intent on going back to jail, the only home he's known. Meanwhile, Maxine struggles to deal with Simone, who is copping it sweet from school after her affair with her teacher.
