Story
Ethan and Jen discover what accepting Beck's signing bonus means in a legal sense, which makes it more difficult both for them to get over Beck's death and adds an extra strain in their marriage. Despite Ryan telling him to leave the issue alone to preserve Beck's memory, Quinn decides to try and find out what happened to the $50,000 blackmail money, he with a new partner in crime, Feeney. Quinn's determination is in part due to a questionable action by Ryan. Nicole and Ryan's relationship is blossoming, although Carrie wants Nicole to know that Ryan has the reputation of a ladies man, emphasis on the plural. Nicole and Ryan's personal time is affected by Nicole's latest client at the resort, a precocious fifteen year old named Kimmy Leung, whose wealthy Chinese parents basically desert her, leaving her to her own destructive devices, that destruction which may be to her own being. Kimmy's actions, in addition to possibly harming herself, further threatens Nicole's job.
