Story
[STARZ] Warriors co-founder, famous entertainer and political activistLuther "Uncle Luke" Campbell introduces the world of Liberty City Warriors and describes the origins of the Warriors program. With the challenges of gun violence and poverty that the neighborhood faces, the Warriors program helps maintain its tight-knit community by keeping the kids off the streets while building superstar athletes. We meet the "Boom Squad," a team of 9-year-old back-to-back national youth football champions, and the "155s," a team of 13-year-old football players, along with their coaches and parents. Beyond the famed Warriors football program, Liberty City Warriors provides programs for numerous sports, including dancing and cheerleading.
