Story
Merv Bascomb walks back to the homestead he and his brother Will inherited leading what is obviously an Apache Indian pony. Will realizes Merv stole the horse so as they start to argue about it, they notice the Apache Charley Red Cloud walking toward them. He accuses Merv of not only taking the horse but stealing his furs. Merv tries to deny it but Charley knocks both men down and rides off on his horse. Merv gets up but Will is still out so Merv pulls his revolver to shoot Will. Later, Josh is successfully playing cards in the local saloon. The owner Myra is with him when Merv walks in to see Josh. There is a $500 bounty on Charley Red Cloud but Josh says the danger from the Apaches out weigh the reward. Merv tries to sweeten the pot but until he offers another $1500 he must borrow from Myra Josh has no interest.
