Story
In response to a circular advertising a reward of $100 from a concerned citizen a sheriff has detained in jail the 12 year old boy who goes by the name Montana Kid and his pet dog Tiger. After holding him for a while the sheriff releases the Kid out the back door telling him to leave town. After the release he returns to the office to tell Josh the Kid is on his way but he doesn't understand the reason behind the favor. Josh gives the sheriff $100 saying he is the concerned citizen. Josh is looking for the Kid to lead him to his step-father Johnny Deuce. Johnny who cheated Josh in a card game with marked cards earlier, leaves a saloon after collecting his winnings from the owner, Manila Jones, who realizes he cheated the players using marked cards. Meanwhile, Josh trails the Kid to a camp of freighters where the Kid is playing Three Card Monte with them. When it is clear he tried to cheat them, Josh rescues him. He tries to makes friends with the Kid and asks about Johnny but the Kid ...
