Story
In 1871 Josh is at the back stage of the opera house to meet the famous British singer Stella Winter. After being directed to her dressing room she meets him at the door. Upset, she starts to tell Josh about her problem as she hands him a note detailing a ransom note for her sister. The distraught singer faints with Josh catching her and laying her down on a sofa. As he looks for something to wake her up, he notices her diamonds on the dressing table. She on the other hand is awake watching to see what he does. He turns to find her standing. She is convinced he is honest so she continues to show him the note which indicates her sister Amy has been kidnapped. A ransom of $5000 is to be paid for her at the livery stable in Sugar Creek the next night. Josh agrees to pay the ransom after ensuring she is okay.
