Story
Coop and Charlie looking for supplies for the wagon train find a town totally deserted except for one old Indian, and four white residents who later return. They learn that the town was deserted because of a plague of bats unleashed from a cave nearby, where a professor, now missing, went searching for a treasure left behind by Spanish priests. The Indian Isaiah Quickfox had led the professor to the cave that was used by the Indians in their rituals for boys becoming men. The rumor is that the bats are all blood eating bats and therefore dangerous. The seven people decide to all go back to the cave to search again for the professor and the treasure, despite the bats, their fear of the bats, and the distrust one of the men has for the old Indian guiding them.
