Story
Following the attack on King Ecbert's soldiers, King Horik pushes for a full-scale attack. Ragnar realizes he now has little choice but believes negotiation is the only solution. They proceed to battle with Horik arrogantly believing it can only end in victory. Ecbert is ready for them however. Thanks to Athelstan's translation of ancient Roman scripts, he uses their battle tactics and scores a decisive victory. Someone close to Ragnar is severely injured and taken prisoner. A truce is negotiated, as Raganar had predicted. Athelstan is offered a choice. Back in Kattegat, Auslag makes Porunn a free woman.
