Story
Lum catches a cold and soon wears a protective mask over her nose and mouth. While the rest of the boys in class are sympathetic, Ataru is anything but.
Eventually, Megane and his group offer Ataru money if they can have Lum's protective mask (as a rather pathetic attempt to get an 'indirect kiss' from her). Ataru manages to trick Lum into giving up her mask...but also gets the other boys in class to pay to 'use' the mask.
However, it soon becomes apparent that Lum's cold has an adverse reaction to humans, leaving a green and red-striped area where the infected item has touched. Lum has even touched Ataru's face after coughing, and her handprint has left the same colored mark on his face.
The boys manage to find Lum's cousin Ten and demand he find an antidote on Lum's ship. However, the medication he gives them only causes the infected coloration to spread over their entire bodies.
