Story
In this first episode of Nelvana's well-known series based on the Care Bears characters and toys, Care-a-lot is getting ready for its birthday celebrations. After asking Tenderheart Bear and Brave Heart Lion about the purpose of these festivities, Baby Hugs and Baby Tugs, the Care Bear Cubs, want to give their residence a present: at the request of Brave Heart, they rehearse all sorts of acts before settling on acrobatics. But while they do so, No Heart's apprentice, an awkward creature by the name of Beastly, captures both Cubs without warning, taking them to his master's castle. Now, the Care Bear Family--both Bears and their Cousins--must save them and bring them back home before No Heart ruins their fun for good.
