Story
Allison Dine's fragile state is shaken during a visit to the UK to discuss business with Terry Clark. There she encounters her replacement, feisty Kiwi lawyer Karen Soich, and realises her romantic relationship with Terry is well and truly over. For Bob Trimbole, the trip to the UK becomes a disturbing experience when he receives a directive from Terry to have Allison killed. In exile in the UK, half a world away form his beloved son, Terry's paranoia has increased along with his cocaine use. Another visitor to Terry's UK base is his business partner, 'Mr Asia' Marty Johnstone, who runs the Singapore end of the drug organisation. Terry is mightily displeased with Marty's recent performance, and recruits Andy Maher to 'deal' with Marty. Back in Australia, the Joint Taskforce is determined to tackle the problem of corruption in the Federal Narcotics Agency. This very corruption saves Allison's skin when, following her arrest on drugs charges, information trickles back to Bob Trimbole ...
