Story
The Odyssey picks up a transmission from a young woman of the same race as Yumi. Ulysses and the children travel to an asteroid where the Zotrian woman, Atena, lives with an old, blind, archaeologist called Heratos. Heratos tells Ulysses that he found Atena aboard a spacecraft of a type he had never seen before and when he found her he also saw a strange black sphere aboard the ship. When he tried to pick it up it showed him star charts that showed a path beyond the galactic glaciers that mark the boundary between Olympus and another galaxy - Earth's galaxy. But the gods blinded him for seeing such information. Heratos gives Ulysses a map that will allow him to find a way through the glaciers - but the gods have already made Heratos an offer that he cannot refuse and which will condemn the crew of the Odyssey to be stranded in space forever.
