Story
While Telemachus is piloting a shuttle the Odyssey comes under attack from Trident ships. Telemachus spots a strange planet nearby that has a large hole in the surface and tells his father to fly the Odyssey into the hole to evade their attackers. Ulysses follows his sons advice but when the Tridents try to follow them they are destroyed. Then the damage to the Odyssey is mysteriously repaired and a voice tells them that they have been aided by The Magician in Black. Ulysses and the children are transported from the ship to the Magician's palace where he tells them that he is more powerful than the gods. When Ulysses asks him to prove his claim by reviving the companions he does so. But Ulysses does not know that the Magician desires payment for his services - in the form of a deadly game.
