Story
The Odyssey detects a distress signal and finds a crippled ship containing a woman called Galatea. She tells Ulysses that she is from the planet Nereopolis, but Shirka translates the distress signal and finds that it actually came from a man called Nereus. At that moment the Odyssey is surrounded by hundreds of Trident ships and Sharkmen hidden in Galatea's ship take control of Ulysses' craft. Ulysses and the children are taken prisoner and are taken to Squalopolis - the new name for Nereopolis. Ulysses' cell mate tells him that Galatea was the daughter of former King Nereus and that she, like most of the population, have had mind control brooches fitted by the Sharkmen. Ulysses tells the old man that Nereus is still alive and the two men plan an escape. Meanwhile, Telemachus and Yumi are taken away to fight in the public games.
