Story
Adult siblings Sarah, Josh and Ali each receive a telephone call from their father Morton who wants them to have dinner with him at the longtime family home - where Morton lives and which he got to keep in the divorce settlement from the kids' mother, Shelly - so that he can tell them as a collective some big news. The three are rather nonplussed even in their speculation that the news may be something serious like Morton having some major health issue like cancer, which if be the case successful music producer Josh openly talks about what to him is the more important aspect of inheritance. At dinner, Morton cannot tell his children the real reason for convening them, despite a vow made at a support group meeting to do so, as Morton can see that it's not the right time in the three's self-absorbed lives.
