Story
Obsessing over his disagreement with Kevin following their argument concerning their mother's care and Rebecca's subsequent decision not to apply for the nine month clinical trial in St. Louis, Randall, in his next therapy session, feels the need to speak to Dr. Leigh about the closing issue in that argument, namely what if Jack had survived the fire, something that Randall has thought about every day of his life since their father's passing. After Randall describes his scenario of what he thinks would have happened, Dr. Leigh pushes back uncovering a likely cause of why he is feeling the way he is feeling. If he takes Dr. Leigh to heart, Randall may now be entering into a new phase of the relationship with his mother.
