Story
During a fierce storm a beautiful stained glass window in the church is destroyed when a tree smashes through it. Geraldine seeks a sponsor to replace it,persuading businessman Daniel Frobisher to put up the money,his philanthropy being celebrated as a result. However,when Geraldine learns of an earthquake in South America,she donates most of Daniel's eleven thousand pound gift to its appeal,settling for a plain window as a replacement instead.
