Story
Henry becomes more and more upset at Will's dallying with Eloise and her family. He accuses Will of changing. He and Will even get into a tussle that Beanpole has to break up. At the same time, Sarlat starts tell Will that he is not as secure as he thinks he is. Will probes Eloise's feelings about leaving with him. She is resistant to the idea. And the tournament has taken on a more ominous atmosphere as a Tripod has come to camp out at the edge of the contest grounds. Will tries to draw Henry and Beanpole into the family circle. They are alarmed when the Count says that Will and Eloise are to marry. Henry and Beanpole declare they are leaving that night. They request that Will furnish them with a map and compass.
