Story
When two boys come to visit Mark at the McCain ranch, one of them takes hold Lucas' rifle only to have it go off killing the other boy. Mark can't quite accept what has happened and is unable to bring himself to even touch a rifle. He decides to run away to California, stopping off at Lou's hotel for the night before leaving town. Lou meanwhile has her own problems when a wanted outlaw by the name of Vantine holes up in the hotel. In the end, it's left to Mark to decide what he is capable of doing.
